Intelligence in Lord Of The Flies is shown by Piggy. Piggy is the back bone of the island, Piggy has really good ideas but nobody listens to him. Piggy gets bullied on the island. Ralph does not relies that Piggy is a really good friend until he dies. Piggy was the one person who really knows what is going on and is tying to leave the island. I think Piggy feels left out on the island so he tries his best to fit in.
I think Golding used Piggy in The Lord Of The Flies because he needed a voice of reason.
